RIGHT OF RECESS :

The customer who purchases a product from GioiadellCasa.it and for whatever reason is not satisfied with the product bought, has the right to withdraw from the stipulated contract, without any penalty and even without specifying any reason, within the limit of 10 working days starting from the day they receive the item (in case of purchasing), or starting from the day of on-line final contract (for services). The withdrawal must be manifested by means of sending it in the aforementioned limit of 10 days a registered letter post to this address:

Within the same time limit, a fax or telegram can be sent and must be followed within 48 hours by the above mentioned registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt which testifies the customer’s withdrawal. Within the above mentioned time limit of 10 days all the previously purchased items have to be returned to the sender. The returned items cannot be broken and in their own original confection together with the instructions, with nothing missing. The postage costs for delivery will be charged to the customer. Once the merchandise has arrived, on its arrival to the warehouse it will be examined and in the event of damage or mishandling, the withdrawal cannot be activated. Gioia della Casa will refund the entire amount of money, having deducted the postage costs, paid by the customer, within 30 days.

Discretion of Data – Italian Law 196/2003

In accordance with the Law 196/2003 on the protection of personal data, GioiadellCasa.it guarantees the maximum discretion of data provided: In particular we guarantee that personal data will only be used exclusively for deliveries of merchandise that have been ordered and for the invoicing procedure through the order form. Moreover they won’t be published neither given to third parties or Companies and they can be easily corrected or cancelled if required, without paying any money, just contacting staff[at]gioiadellacasa.it or through the Control Panel (section "Your data" an "Delete" ).

SECURITY

Further to the new security measures adopted, the international Visa and MasterCard circuits have introduced an additional control method on credit card transactions.
It involves a security number , comprising a group of three digits printed on the back of the credit card, in the area reserved for your signature..
To conclude the transaction, in addition to the usual details (long number on the card, expiry date and total amount charged), from the 1st of January 2005 , you will be required to specify this code as well.

To pay using the Bankpass Web service, you have to first have signed up for the service at www.bankpass.it.
To proceed to purchase, please enter your User-ID and password (provided when registering) to access your wallet and choose your preferred payment method (credit card, prepaid Soldintasca card or PagoBancomat): the transaction will be completed without the credit card or PagoBancomat details travelling over the Internet. For every transaction made with your wallet, you'll receive an e-mail confirmation.
